Five Minute Trinity Earrings - Affordable Jewellery Supplies

Five Minute Trinity Earrings

These earrings were born because of these beautiful closed textured rings.  I just fell in love with them as soon as I saw them. I played with them for some time before I decided how to finally use them.

These Trinity earrings are made using two really simple techniques – opening and closing a jump ring and making simple loops.  Below are links to tutorials for both of those techniques so if you haven’t used them before, don’t worry, I’ll walk you step by step through the process.

These earrings are much easier than they look.

Materials

Here’s what you will need to make these earrings:

Tools

Instructions

Watch the video or read the instructions below.

Step 1

Make the dangles by threading one faceted rondelle onto a headpin.  Make a loop at the top of the bead. If you’ve never made a loop before, please watch this video.

I used my 1-step looper to make the loops but you can make them with round nose pliers. If you’re interested in the 1-Step Looper, check out this video.

Repeat this until you have made six dangles.

Step 2

Open one of the oval jump rings and add two of the textured metal rings and one of the dangles you have just made. Close the jump ring. If you haven’t used jump rings before watch this video.

Step 3

Open another jump ring and thread on a textured metal ring and one of the textured rings of the component you have just made as well as a dangle. Close the jump ring. Now you have three rings and two dangles.

Step 4

Open the third jump ring and attach another a dangle, an earwire and one of the end textured metal ring from the component. Close the jump ring.

Now you have completed one earring.

Repeat for the other earring.

These earrings are super quick and easy, and they look really impressive. No-one will know that it took just five minutes to make them.
